The broadcasting rights in Brazil belong to BandSports in closed TV.
Series A1
The A1 Series, which since the year 2000 brings together 14 teams is composed of two phases:
Regular season: it is divided into two rounds; the 14 participating teams face each other only once in each round. The games in the second round will be played in the same order as the first round, with only the reversed court order. At the end of this phase the eight teams with the best technical index qualify for the play-offs; the two worst teams are relegated to the A2 Series;
Play-offs: structured in quarter-finals, semi-finals and final in knockout system. The winning team of this phase will win the scudetto and the title of Italian Volleyball Champion.
The eight teams with the best technical index of the first round of the regular season are classified for the Italian Cup of Series A1.
The best teams placed in Serie A1 and Serie A1 Cup are classified for European competitions:
- Champions League: Italian champion, Italian runner-up and first place in the regular season;
- Challenge Cup: second place in the regular season;
- CEV Cup: Italy Cup champion.
