The Uzbek Professional Football League is the highest division of club football in Uzbekistan. The League was founded in 1992, when Uzbekistan became independent of the Soviet Union, and is organized by the Uzbek Football Federation. Mode
A total of 12 teams take part in the 1st League 2018 matches. These teams play against each other in the first and second round. The two first-placed teams of the league automatically qualify for the group phase or qualifying round of the AFC Champions League. Sporting relegation to the 2nd league is the last place in the table at the end of the season.
